Who We Are:
NJAJCS is the only inter-disciplinary organization of Jewish communal professionals in the State of New Jersey and one of the largest organizations of its kind throughout the United States. Members of NJAJCS attend educational programs, participate in professional development workshops, network with colleagues from all disciplines, explore within a Jewish context the philosophical underpinnings of our profession’s shared mission, and develop advocacy programs that will benefit our profession and our constituencies. NJAJCS outstanding programs—the Fall Program, the Pearl S. Bier Judaic Seminar, and Annual Meeting —are enhanced by activities such as the Committee on Women, College Outreach, Continuing Education Programs, Teleconferences, Membership Directory, Update (NJAJCS’s newsletter), and Personnel Practices.
